Established in 1927, Truman's was a favorite gathering place for the residents of Eastside although many long-time patrons felt like the ambience had been ruined by the recent influx of college students and wealthy young professionals. The alley behind Truman's was Bozzie's haunt ever since he died there in 1994.
In recent months Truman's also became a haunt for pigment dealers looking to sell product to the wealthy and curious. After a violent confrontation with Orpheus Agents, in which they intimidated a dealer and disrupted the distribution of pigment throughout Eastside, Truman's was burned to the ground. The perpetrators have not been caught.
