Former President and CEO of Vacek Investments, and one of the richest men in the City. Vacek Investments filed for bankruptcy after an SEC investigation into dishonest accounting practices — a direct result of certain facts that came to light during an Orpheus Group mission contracted by Stephen Vacek himself.
Although his financial empire was crippled by the SEC probe, Mr. Vacek remained an extremely wealthy and influential man. He eventually contracted NextWorld Enterprises to help him take revenge on Orpheus Group, stealing sensitive information from their computer system and then using it to lure several Agents into a trap. The trap backfired, however, when the NextWorld operatives turned on him, and Vacek was gunned down by Cheryl Banning.
Mr. Vacek's last major financial venture was funding the completion of Graceful Repose Residential Towers.
