Robert Herschler was an officer in the Air Force with a penchant for carousing. One night, while out drinking with his poker buddies, Robert nearly asphyxiated on a stripper's pastie.
Although he can be blunt and often bucks authority, Herschler is an effective and fiercely loyal Agent. Recently, old entanglements with the CIA have placed him in a difficult position, forcing him to commit many small betrayals in the hopes of saving his colleagues from a larger disaster.
During an expedition into the Graceful Repose Residential Towers spectre hive, Herschler came into contact with a black substance that split off a fragment of his psyche as a doppelganger. His doppelganger, which knew everything about Orpheus that Herschler did proceeded to leak all of Orpheus' security secrets to the CIA, which may have resulted in the assault on Orpheus Group that soon followed. The doppelganger eventually was confronted by Herschler, who attacked and destroyed and/or merged with it.
Robert Herschler is a sleeper-class projector. He is trained in the Inhabit, Haunt, Poltergeist, Puppetry, Nimbus, Conflagration, and Hellfire emanations. He possesses spite stain that manifest as a swirling aura of black smoke that envelopes his body, with barbed chains whipping out from the darkness to tear at his opponents.
