A residential suburb several miles north of the City, at the edge of the Madley Hills Forest Preserve. In many ways a stereotypically idyllic suburb, Restwood is a haven for families hoping to escape the crime and claustrophobia of the City's inner neighborhoods. Single- and double-income families with small children make up the bulk of the population. Most crime is limited to underage drinking and some vandalism, although recently a series of child abductions has created a local stir. Restwood has its own police force, which occasionally coordinates with City police on difficult or high-profile cases.
