Dr. Masato Takeichi was one of the original founders of Eurydice Corporation, and was recruited by Samuel Magabe. He designed the protocols for and assisted in carrying out the the clandestine experiments conducted at Conquin State Prison.
After the Conquin Prison experiments were covered up, Takeichi was made head of a Terrel & Squib research laboratory located in Bolivia, tasked with harvesting and refining pigment for use in Magabe's PROJECT: BLACK MERCURY and in the surplus pigment trade managed by Bishop. Takeichi was killed when Orpheus Agents raided the lab, when a spectral entity of immense power left his body, finally allowing his long-delayed throat cancer to catch up to him. It is not known when this entity began to inhabit Takeichi, nor is it known just how much free will Takeichi actually had in his long collaboration with Magabe and Bishop.
