Brett Morrison was a corporate sales manager before his car stalled at a railroad crossing. Reconstructive surgery was able to repair most of the damage, but most people still find something slightly unsettling about Brett's face... a subtle, almost undetectable misalignment of the features that makes his true motivations difficult to read.
Since his recruitment by Orpheus Group, Brett has gained a reputation as a deal-maker and a glad-hander. His behavior is occasionally erratic. Several times he has taken extended leaves of absence in order to research eccentric topics such as birth defects or serial murders. Brett has also reported strange experiences, such as amnesia following a bizarre meeting with a Romanian intellectual who was self-touted as "an expert on vampyrism in postmodernity." After the team's encounter with the fathomless blackness inside the Graceful Repose specter hive, Morrison again reported an unexplained experience, this time of a trance-like automatic writing with his non-dominant hand in a backward slavic script of a cryptic phrase: "One day this chalk outline will circle this city." Morrison seems to vacillate between coolly non-plussed and excessively concerned about these experiences.
Brett has received mandated counseling from Orpheus Group's psychiatric care division on more than one occasion.
Brett Morrison is a skimmer-class projector. He is trained in the Masque, Morphose, Keening, Dirge, and Requiem emanations. He has developed a stain that manifests as a horrifically deformed maw of jagged, broken tusks. He is also able to "drink" vitality from spirits that he bites.
