Sharif al'FaroukSharif was a priest of Sarenrae at the Lambent Citadel in Solku. He was sent on the expedition to Kelmarane in order to help establish a mission in the refounded town, and because his superior, Father Shahryar felt that he needed to learn a few lessons in tolerance and humility. In particular, he was tasked with accompanying the paladin, Shin, on his own quest for redemption. Sharif became the head priest at the restored church in Kelmarane after the liberation. However, he was called back to Solku when a review by his superiors found that he had neglected his faith in favor of increasing his arcane powers. Father Shahryar suggested that he tutor for a while under the elven mystic theurge Al-Awayb, in order to find a more appropriate balance between his two callings. |
