KardswaanKardswaan was once one of the Templars of the Five Winds. He wielded an enormous greataxe in battle, and was master of the south wind, most well-traveled and worldly of the winds. Several years ago Kardswaan passed through Kelmarane in his wanderings. Curious about the wards surrounding the church, he entered the crypts and was instantly dominated by the creature imprisoned there. In an effort to foment the widespread violence that it craved, the crypt-creature forced Kardswaan to take over the town and pledge his loyalty to the Carrion King. Although clearly acting against his will, Kardswaan showed no remorse for his actions and seemed genuinely indifferent to the suffering that he caused. Whatever nobility he had possessed as a Templar was lost long before he ever came to Kelmarane. He was slain by Shin shouting curses at his brother Vardishal as he died. |
